Fall Gallery Walk to Feature Vignette Designed by Yamini Designs

August 9, 2019

Mark your calendars for the most popular event of the year in the River North Design District (RNDD): the 5th Annual Fall Gallery Walk Friday, September 6 & 7. The event brings art and design together by pairing top Chicago interior designers with an RNDD showroom and internationally renowned artists.

For this year’s gallery walk, 20 select interior designers are creating a unique vignette to showcase the work of some of the brightest stars in the art world today. Yamini Designs is honored to be collaborating with Italian furniture showroom Casa Spazio and the Hilton/Asmus Contemporary art gallery. We’ll share more details of our vignette so stay tuned!

The RNDD is a local community of 64 interior design showrooms open to both consumers and designers offering everything from lighting and tile to kitchens, rugs and furnishings. Showrooms are located on street level and in close proximity to each other, which allows customers to stroll throughout the district and enjoy the neighborhood.

Yamini Designs Selected to Design Rug for Charity Event

June 22, 2019

I’m so proud to have been selected to design an exclusive rug for the 3rd Annual Carpets for a Cause benefit this fall!

I’ll be working with the experts at Oscar Isberian Rugs to design my own exclusive carpet, which will then be tufted by artisan weavers in Thailand. My rug and 15 others designed by Chicago interior designers will be on display at Oscar Isberian this fall and then raffled during Carpets for Cause on October 23.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Designs for Dignity, which combines pro bono design and construction talent and in-kind donations to breathe new life into nonprofit spaces.

Stay tuned for ticket info for this fun and worthwhile event!
